Clear Care Plus is a hydrogen peroxide disinfection system for contact lenses that is suitable for GP (including scleral) lenses. It has more additives that “regular” Clear Care. User preferences vary between the two, but many scleral lens users prefer the Triple Action version for both comfort and vision.

Clear Care Plus is used to clean and rinse lenses, then disinfect them. It comes with a special “basket” style case that contains a neutralizing disc. You place your lenses in the cage, fill the case with solution, then place the cage in the case. Over a 6-hour period the lenses are disinfected and the the disc converts the solution (which is mostly hydrogen peroxide) to saline.

CAUTION: The Clear Care case is not suitable for use with larger or deeper scleral lenses. Consult your provider to ensure your lenses can be used with the Clear Care case.
