No-plunger method
The basic idea
You are trying to break the suction by pushing the edge of your lower eyelid under the lower edge of the lens. The lens may pop out or you may need to nudge it further.
Make sure to have a towel over your work space so it has a safe place to land.
Like all scleral lens removal methods, the no-plunger method should be taught in person by a professional. Some patients may not be able to use this method.
