…into a multi-purpose solution for disinfection?
Rinse with the multi-purpose solution itself, or with saline.
…into a hydrogen peroxide system for disinfection?
Rinse with the hydrogen peroxide solution or with saline. You’ll need to rinse very thoroughly, because residue from cleaning solutions or MPS can react with the hydrogen peroxide.
…into my eye*?
Rinse with preservative-free saline. If you just cleaned your lens with a “red cap” solution, make sure to rinse extra thoroughly!
*Use case: People with extra deposits or “mid-day fogging” who may need to remove, clean, rinse and re-apply their lenses during the day.
